This Schott black belt is cut from genuine Horween steerhide, leather from the Horween Leather Company, one of the oldest tanneries in the United States. Steerhide comes from mature steers and is valued for strength and a fairly even grain, which suits a belt meant for daily wear. Black keeps it versatile, working with jeans on a weekend and with dark trousers during the week.
